Chloe & Rohan at Camperdown Commons, Sydney

A surprise wedding!

These guys approached this whole celebration with such a relaxed charm that I didn’t want the day to end. They allowed themselves to go there during our shoot. I didn’t even direct them. With massive hearts and a redemption story that’s not mine to share. They brought laughter in me and even some tears.

The brief was just to let the day happen and capture whatever I felt. I love those kinds of briefs!

I chose a colouration which was impacted by the weather and the timber setting at Camperdown Commons.

I shot with the intimacy they exposed to me, I allowed myself to be closer with a wider focal length and let the usually noticed moments tell the story to express the subtle nature of these two. They express a magic without any words or grandiose they simply embody the love they share.
