Jacoby’s Tiki Bar - After Party

If you think wedding receptions are all about heartfelt speeches, champagne toasts, and cutting cake under twinkling lights, you haven’t witnessed this beautiful, hazy after party at Jacoby's Tiki Bar in Enmore. The afterparty of the decade went down.

Jacoby’s Tiki Bar is like a fever dream plucked straight from the mind of someone who drank too much rum in the 70s and never came back. It’s a small, neon-lit black hole where you lose your phone, your dignity, and possibly your friends, but nobody seems to mind. On this particular night, it was the final stop for a wedding party that had clearly had enough of tradition and wanted to feel like it was like where all their favourite nights would end up.

The bride and groom, still in their fancy clothes but with that glazed-over "I’ve seen some things" look in their eyes, crashed through the door with a hurricane of guests behind them. This wasn’t your average just-married crowd; no one was ready to call it a night. The air reeked of rum punch and bad decisions, the music pounded out of the speakers like a heartbeat, and everyone was caught in the swirling madness.

This wasn’t one of those polished, Pinterest-perfect weddings where everyone’s making TikToks in coordinated outfits. This was pure, unfiltered chaos. Every photo from the night looks like it was shot on film by a friend who might have had one too many.

The kind of shots where you can almost hear the blur of laughter and glass smashing in the background. Flash-lit faces distorted by sweat, smeared lipstick, and the kind of delirium that only comes at 2 AM after way too many shots of whatever the bartender swears is a “secret recipe.”
